I - La stazione speciale II0TH sara' attiva (in 80, 40, 20 e 15 metri

Telethon per la ricerca sulle malattie genetiche. QSL secondo le

JA - Cercate JA4GXS/4 che operera' in 40, 30, 20 e 15 metri CW e SSB da
Yashiro Island (AS-117, JIIA AS-117-118), Prefettura di Yamaguchi

JD1_mt - Masa, JA1DDH operera' da JD1YBJ su Minami Torishima (OC-073) dal 20
Dicembre a meta' Gennaio. Prevede di dare preferenza ai 160 metri.

KP5 - Cercate Kam Sirageldin, N3KS e Dave Collingham, K3LP che saranno
attivi da Desecheo (NA-095) dal 16 al 18 Dicembre (ma potrebbero
rimanere sull'isola sino alle 10 UTC del 19 Dicembre). Hanno un
permesso di sbarco rilasciato dall'United States Fish and Wildlife
Service (USFWS) ed opereranno nel loro tempo libero come N3KS/KP5 e
K3LP/KP5 dai 10 ai 160 metri (dipende dalla disponibilita' delle
antenne) in CW e SSB, con preferenza in 15, 20, 40 e 80 metri. QSL

Gennaio per celebrare il lancio del primo satellite per telecomuni-

V55HB da Hollams Bird Island nell'Erongo/Hardap Region Group (AF-

VP8 - Ancora una volta Willy, ON5AX sara' in Antartica. Informa che pre-
vede di operare in CW e SSB come VP8DII/mm nei pressi delle South
Shetlands e della Penisola Antartica tra il 28 Dicembre ed il 18

VP8_ant - Alan Cheshire, VP8PJ (meglio conosciuto come VK0LD, VK6CQ, 9V1DX,
9V0A e VK0MM) informa che lavorera' al Patriot Hills Camp (MN-01
per l'Antarctica Award), Antartica all'incirca tra il 21 Dicembre e
il 30 Gennaio. Prevede di operare principalmente in CW nel suo tem-
po libero. Alan spera anche di essere attivo come CE9/VP8PJ dalla
vicina stazione cilena "Teniente Parodi" (CE-NEW). QSL a DL5EBE.

3Y0X ---> Secondo l'ultimo Status Report and Summary della DXpedition di 3Y0X
a Peter I (www.peterone.com), il team volera' da Punta Arenas a King George
Island il 2 Febbraio e quindi s'imbarchera' sul "Chinook" che salpera' alla
volta di Peter I lo stesso giorno. L'arrivo e' previsto approssimativamente
per il 6 Febbraio ed il team avra' 16 giorni a disposizione sull'isola (le
condizioni meteo detteranno il momento per lo sbarco ed influenzeranno la da-
ta di partenza). 3Y0X avra' nove stazioni HF complete dotate di ICOM Pro III/
Alpha 99 oltre a diverse antenne. Vi saranno due siti distanti circa 1000
piedi (300 metri) che permetteranno operazioni in SSB e CW/digitale sulla
stessa banda contemporaneamente. E' previsto che siano QRV in 6m, 2m e 70cm
EME. Log, foto e, se possibile, brevi video clip saranno disponibili in rete.
Il QSL manager sara' N2OO. I log verranno inviati al LOTW all'inizio del
2007.

una licenza radioamatoriale temporanea semestrale. Questa licenza e' gratuita
e sara' disponibile sino alla firma del nuovo protocollo tra l'Iraqi Amateur
Radio Society e l'INCMC. Per ottenere il modulo di richiesta visitate la pa-

NA-178 ---> Numerose discussioni sono continuate circa il sito e le antenne
da utilizzare durante le operazioni da South East Farallon Island (NA-178)
[425DXN 762], a causa dei diversi fattori in gioco riguardo la sensibilita'
del habitat. Rick, K6VVA comunica che sta valutando di effettuare le attivi-
ta' in un periodo verso i giorni 1-3 Febbraio oppure nella settimana del 13
Febbraio 2006, ma tutto dipende dalle condizioni meteo. Rick prevede delle
operazioni al 75% in CW e 25% in SSB e sta cercando un secondo operatore es-
perto (ottimale sarebbe la possibilita' di essere disponibile alla partenza
