3D2_rot - Bob, W7YAQ (3D2NB) e Bill, N7OU (3D2OU) dovevano operare come 3D2RX
e 3D3RO da Rotuma a partire dal 1 Marzo [425DXN 769]. Il loro volo
e' stato invece cancellato ed attualmente sono bloccati a Nadi
(Fiji Islands). E' stato loro riferito che il prossimo volo per
Rotuma e' previsto per il 6 Marzo. [TNX The Daily DX]
DU - Un gruppo di operatori filippini e giapponesi saranno attivi dal 10
al 12 Marzo come DZ1JP per celebrare il Philippine-Japan Friendship
Year, commemorante i 50 anni di relazioni diplomatiche tra i due
paesi. Queste operazioni si concentreranno in 160 metri e EME (in 6
e 2 metri). QSL a JA1HGY. [TNX DU1EV]
FR/G - Nel Febbraio 2005 e' stata registrata un'epidemia di chikungunya
(una forma di febbre virale trasmessa dai mosquitos) su Reunion e
circa il 20% dei residenti e' stato colpito dal virus con 77 deces-
si associati alla chikungunya. Il comando militare di Reunion ha
concesso un'autorizzazione condizionata per l'organizzazione della
DXpedition to Glorioso (http://glorieuses2005.free.fr/). In ogni
caso la situazione sanitaria locale (non esistono trattamenti spe-
cifici o vaccini per la chikungunya) consiglierebbe agli organizza-
tori di rinviare il viaggio ad Ottobre/Novembre. [TNX F5CQ]
JA - Cercate Takeshi, JI3DST che e' attivo come JI3DST/JS6 da Miyako
Island (AS-079) fino alle 7 UTC circa del 6 Marzo. QSL via home
call, preferibilmente tramite il bureau JARL. [TNX JI3DST]
OH - Martti Laine, OH2BH festeggera' il suo 60x compleanno alla fine
dell'anno e le autorita' postali finlandesi gli hanno rilasciato il
call OH60BH utilizzabile da Marzo. Sono previste parecchie attivi-
ta' interessanti per quest'anno, incluso un'ulteriore raro paese DX
che molto probabilmente sara' il luogo dove si terra' il party
(dieci anni fa si tratto' di Nauru, C21BH). Nel frattempo cercate
Martti come V31BH dal Belize, ARRL SSB Contest incluso. QSL via

P4 - Cercate P40D (call richiesto) che sara' attivo in tutte le bande in
CW, SSB e modi digitali da Aruba (SA-036) dal 6 al 16 Marzo. QSL a

P4 - Tom, W7YW operera' come P40TW da Aruba (SA-036) dal 7 al 24 Marzo.
Tom verra' accompagnato da sua moglie Bonnie, W7BWW e conta di es-
sere attivo in tutte le bande SSB, RTTY e CW dalla contest station

TY - TY4TW, TY5LEO, TY5MR e TY5WP sono i call rilasciati a GM4FDM,
K2LEO, IK1PMR e PA3EWP per le loro attivita' dal 15 al 30 Marzo dal
Benin [425DXN 769]. Le loro apparecchiature includono ora due am-
plificatori ed una Spiderbeam per i 20, 17, 15, 12 e 10 metri, in
aggiunta alle monobanda per i 160, 80, 40 e 30 metri. Le previsioni

UR_ant - Dmitry, UR8UC operera' in CW, SSB e nei modi digitali come EM1UC e
EM1U dalla Akademik Vernadsky Station (UR-01 per l'Antarctica
Award) su Galindez Island (AN-006), Antarctica fino al Febbraio

VK9_ni - L'Oceania Amateur Radio DX Group Inc (http://odxg.org/) sta proget-
tando di operare dai 160 ai 6 metri CW, SSB e RTTY come VI9NI da
Norfolk Island (OC-005) da 25 Maggio al 20 Giugno come parte della
commemorazione del 150x anniversario dello sbarco degli ammutinati
del Bounty. E' possibile ospitare ulteriori operatori per periodi
variabili nel corso di queste attivita' che dureranno un mese, chi
fosse interessato a partecipare e' invitato a contattare
vi9ni@westnet.com.au; sono altresi' gradite donazioni per sostenere

XE - XE7T e' il nominativo speciale rilasciato in occasione dell'ARRL DX
SSB Contest al Hermosillo Contest Group, un gruppo di radioamatori
di Hermosillo, Messico che e' alla prima esperienza nei maggiori
contest. Una particolare attenzione sara' data alla top band. QSL a

PACIFIC TRIP ---> Bernhard, DL2GAC si sta nuovamente recando nel Pacifico.
Operera' come H44MS dalle Solomon Islands dal 4 al 12 Marzo e quindi come
P29VMS dalla Papua New Guinea fino a fine Marzo o inizio Aprile. Conta di es-
sere attivo da alcuni gruppi IOTA durante il soggiorno in PNG, incluse
Bougainville Island (OC-135), le Shortland Islands (OC-162) e, se possibile,

3Y0X ---> L'elicottero termino' il trasporto dell'ultimo carico proveniente
dall'isola alle 18.59 UTC del 24 Febbraio. Il giorno 28 la DAP Mares fece
tappa per alcune ore a Deception Island e quindi riprese il viaggio alla
volta di King George Island. Le cattive condizioni meteo impedirono al team
di volare a Punta Arenas, ed il 3 Marzo erano ancora su KGI. Nel frattempo
alcuni membri del team hanno operato come CE9/homecall dalla Bellingshausen
Station.
