The Spratly Island Group is a heavy disputed area, located in the South China Sea, and several islands are claimbed by variouses countries, like Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Brunei, The Philippines, and last byt not least also Indonesia claimbed several reefs in the group in 1995/1996.

• You can find now a table about some historical datas , collected by me in the last years
• also I collected all names of the islands, I could find. In a near future I will make a new page with a description of all islands (Attention: this is a big one!)
• in the Internet I found a very interesting link to a map of the Spratly Islands , one of the best maps I could found into the WWW
• The Republic of Taiwan documented by stamps the ownership of Itu Aba Island

• BV4AS, the Taiwan's IOTA Manager send be an information, that Itu Aba Island is claimbed by Taiwan since 1955
