64 years old, retired. 1st class ship radiotelegraph operator licence dated 1955. Embarked as Radio Naval Officer on different merchant and passenger ships under different flags, travelling the world for 15 years. He left the sea life for a ground work then he retired after 20 years. After two decades of QRT he discover again the fascination of radio dusting the key and beginiing the ham activity. He joined different CW contests with good results. DX hunter, he likes ventures. He is the founder of the PAX Radioamateurs Club with the object of divulge peace messages through the ham communications, making about 15,000 QSO using the special IU0PAW callsign working from Assisi. I.N.O.R.C. (Italian Naval Old Rhythmers Club) Member he devotes his spare time teaching guys CW.
