>>> ANNUAL UPDATE <<<
The following comes from the RSGB IOTA Manager (Roger Balister, G3KMA):
IOTA members are reminded that the last date for mailing updates to
Checkpoints to influence scores in the 1999 Honour Roll and Annual Listing is
1 February. Updates postmarked after that date will be processed in the
normal way but the scores will be held over to the following year's listing.
Scores on the IOTA Headquarters database will be included automatically in
the appropriate listing unless HQ has been asked (through Checkpoints) to
exclude them.
Finally, don't forget to check the effect on your score of the action taken
last month to delete a) NA-045 and EU-083 credit for contacts with Cancun
Island and Palmaria Island respectively and b) other credits notified to you
by Checkpoints as having been removed following implementation of the first
stage of the data cleansing exercise. As explained more fully last month [ed:
see IOTA Notice November 1998] all you need to do in some cases is to
resubmit the card for rechecking - no charge will be made. In other cases
check to see if you can submit a replacement card.
