February 2026 | 3Y0K: Bouvet Island (AN-002) 3Y0K ---> All the equipment for the 2026 DXpedition to Bouvet is bound for Oslo this week and next, LA7GIA posted to Facebook on 14 August. 'The logis- tics involved in getting all the equipment selected, designed, tested, packed and shipped to Norway has involved many persons, manufacturers, helpers and hard work for a long time. We started developing the 3Y0K DXpe- dition in April 2023, and it has taken us more than 2 years to get to this stage where soon all the equipment will be loaded into a container located in Nittedal, just outside Oslo, Norway. This container will not only be loaded with equipment, but other essentials like tents, provisions, safety and emergency equipment, evacuation gear, QRO generators and a lot more. Our goal is to conduct a safe and sound DXpedition where our ability to adapt to the changing conditions is important. Four team members have expe- rience from Bouvet Island 2023, and know what to expect - I can guarantee we will get onshore!' In two weeks, they will pay the $400,000 deposit for the vessel. By the time they ship the container in mid-September, they will have spent a total of $1,000,000 on this DXpedition, not to mention the thousands of hours of hard work involved.

February 2027 | 3Y0L: Peter I Island (AN-004) BOUVET 2026 & PETER I 2027 ---> 'The 3Y0K Bouvet 2026 team are still working on the vessel and helicopter contracts and we are in the final stage before signing the contracts. We are sorting out the last minute deals and are still looking for some more operators for Bouvet and Peter I teams. Funding of these two DXpeditions also heavily depends on us getting a full team of operators onboard that contribute with their participation fee. Should you wish to join our team, please contact admin[@]3y0.no or Cezar, VE3LYC. We estimate to stay around the island for three weeks and the total duration should be around 38 days to Bouvet and a little bit less to Peter I. We do have all the helicopter and landing permits issued by NPI to go to onshore Bouvet and Peter I with a full scale operation. Planning these two DXpedi- tions is very time consuming where the logistics have to be coordinated with other expeditions and that is why it takes time to sign contracts. Our plans are to use the same vessel for both DXpeditions. First the vessel and crew will take us to Bouvet where we will do landing with a helicopter, then our equipment will later be shipped to South America and stored there before we return one year later to go to Peter I Island scheduled for departure late January 2027. Our plans are to go onshore Peter I with two helicopters first week of February 2027. This way of running the DXpeditions is a huge advantage for the #7 most wanted DXpedition to Peter I. Island'.
