In a nutshell: * Using a 1512 Hz bandwidth, a SuperFox station starts at 750 Hz and go up to 2262 Hz; it can transmit up to 9 messages simultaneously without reduc- ing the dB values received by the SuperHounds. * The SuperHound stations transmit normal FT8 signals anywhere from 200 Hz and up; their frequencies are not shifted down after being called. * A SuperFox station can send text messages of up to 26 characters in length, for example to announce QSY. * A digital signature embedded in the SuperFox message will enable the re- ceiving software to confirm that the signal originates from the genuine DXpedition. * There will be no backwards compatibility, and the use the latest release of WSJT-X will be mandatory (candidate release WSJT-X 2.7.0-rc5 is upcoming, bookmark https://wsjt.sourceforge.io./wsjtx.html). 26/08-05/09 | CY9C: St. Paul Island (NA-094) CY9C ---> The DXpedition to St. Paul Island [425DXN 1730] will run six sta- tions on 160-10 metres, and one station for VHF/UHF/EME and satellite. At any given time, a minimum of 3 stations will be using the new SuperFox FT8 mode. All antennas will be monobanders, with the exception of 12/17 metres, which will use a duoband beam with a diplexer. The team will assemble in Dingwall (Nova Scotia) on 24 August. Radio opera- tions will commence on 26 August and conclude on 5 September (both dates are weather dependent). Two helicopters will transport all gear and operators to/from the island, making this the most expensive St. Paul Island operation ever. As 'getting permission for these sensitive areas is becoming increasingly more difficult each year', this could well be the last St. Paul Island operation for many years to come'. January 2026 | 3Y0K: Bouvet Island (AN-002) 3Y0K: BOUVET ISLAND 2026 ---> 'We are still negotiating contracts for the DXpedition to Bouvet Island. This DXpedition will be a large scale operation with 20-24 operators, and we are looking for 4-6 more CW/SSB operators to complete the team: https://3y0k.com/. We are looking at various options on how to run the expedition, where the focus now is on helicopter logistics. Previously, at the end of June, we received the helicopter permit from the Norwegian Polar Institute and therefore have all the permits we need to activate Bouvetoya'. The permit is valid for a helicopter operation in the period November 2025 to March 2026, and covers the plateau above the SW corner of the island to the SE part at Cape Fie.

February 2027 | 3Y0L: Peter I Island (AN-004) PETER I ISLAND 2027 ---> 'We plan to activate Peter I Island in February 2027 with a team of 19 operators. We have signed a financial agreement with a private group about sharing the cost for this DXpedition. The DXpedition budget and our share is around $825,000, of which we must deposit $340,000 in 2024'. The landing permit from the Norwegian Polar Institute was received in April; the callsign (3Y0L) will be confirmed later. The expedition is expected to run from 28 January to 26 February 2027, including the voyage from King George Island (South Shetlands) to Peter I and back.
